Hello everyone,

I have just started next fast project - Kfz.70 Krupp Protze from Tamiya. The best option for me - I have had no much time for modelling this month. Every elements of Tamiya kit fit very well, so fixing it is all pleasure. I will upgrade my truck by Black Dog resin.

ZIS-16s Russian Sanitary car

Sanitary car ZIS-16s was produced in 1939-1945 and was created on the base of passenger bus ZIS-16. It had simplificated cabin from the lorry ZIS-5 and cutted streamlined body of the base car ZIS-5.

Internal machinery of its body was settled accouts with trausport of a big number of wounded men. In front of body there were stretches in three lines (6 pieces), in the back-in two lines (4 pieces). There were ventilators and heating. ZIS-16s was used in period of WWII on the battle fields.

Vehicles are done. They got rains, dust and rust in some places. The base is also finished, the sand got more different tones and I airbrushed the grass to less contrast and vivid tones. The last thing to do is to paint all the figures.

Come back to older project. Tha idea of diorama and composition didn't change. Both vehicle got wash and the weathering was started. Moreover, the M3 tank is destroyed in this scene - I airbrushed little smoke effect near right side hatch and added more chips around the hitting hole. Next, tanks will get more dust and dirt. Everything, base and vehicles, must fit together in colour tones, so I will also work on it.

Hello everyone after short break. Lets back to AFV modeling. To warm-up my workshop I have started fast project - FAMO in 1/72 scale from Revell. It was build out of the box yesterdey. It took me only several hours. As you can see, I used Black Dog coversion for FAMO. The resin fits very well and doesn't make any problem.

Small update. I airbrushed camouflage colours on the Pz III. Moreover, M3 Lee also got colours and was painted in "colour modulation" style. All vegetation was painted for less bright green tones. The thatch from makeup brush was airbrushed grey and now it looks much older.

Go ahead, I have finished the cottage in 90%. The small villege house was painted by acrylics and I have made rains using MIG oils, but they aren't visible on the photos. It must be improved in the future.

I made the thatch usnig hair from makeup brush.

Little progress. M3 Lee is ready to paint. Mirage kit took me more time to get all elements together. They doesn't fit as well as Revell tank. What's next? Terrain, figures...maybe something else.
